Our journey continues southwards, through the scenery of Austria and Slovenia, before we arrive in Croatia early this afternoon and have time to settle into our hotel for a six-night stay.
Explore the lovely coastal town of Porec, where you can browse the shops or visit one of the restaurants on the bustling pedestrianised street. There are also several spots around the town to take a dip in the clear waters!
We continue to the beautiful hilltop town of Motovun, with its historic walls.
Rovinj is a real gem of the Istrian region and it is a delight to enjoy a stroll along the quaint harbour and around the cobbled streets. We also see some of Istria’s greenery today as we take a short boat trip on the Lim fjord, surrounded by green hills.
Just a short way along the coast, also nestled on the banks of the Adriatic Sea, is the lovely resort of Opatija, which we will visit today. Enjoy time at your leisure to soak up the beautiful architecture, seafront promenade and colourful parks.
Spend a leisurely day in our resort. Explore the facilities of this superb accommodation.
We take a trip to visit the nearby historic town of Pula, where we visit the impressive amphitheatre. Take in the wonderful architecture and buildings here, or enjoy a walk through the bustling streets or along the port.
As our holiday draws to a close, we say goodbye to Croatia and make our way back towards France, travelling through the night.
Return home.
You will stay for six nights at the 4-star Hotel Marina Moscenicka Draga or similar.

Good food. Hotel room had noise from next room due to a party door.Trips were reasonable ,but Motovun was not worth going to.

Excellent holiday, shame about overly long journey. Overnight stop would be beneficial.

Croatia was well worth the visit but the journey by coach left a lot to be desired. Toilet was unusable on the outbound journey, there was no wifi or entertainment and the seats were very uncomfortable. The places we stopped at to eat were subpar with the exception of one and the toilet facilities at most stops were disgusting. The towns we visited were fabulous with stunning views each way but the long and boring boat ride should be shortened from two and a half hours to one hour. There is nothing to see but rocks and trees, no shelter on the boat from the cold wind and the free wine was undrinkable.

Think the holiday was good value the hotel was good the drivers Karl and ash made the journey as good as they could and were excellent the whole time but do think the overnight journey is a bit to much would rather have paid a bit more and had a overnight stop
