Local departure by coach or Home Connect service then to Ostend for four nights.
We begin our break with an exciting day out to nearby Lille in Northern France. Traditionally held at Place Rihour, the Christmas market is decked out with lights and colour.
This historical city comes to life at this time of year, and we’ll be able to buy Christmas presents and treat ourselves to some tasty regional specialities and festive souvenirs.
Explore the stalls dotted around the city centre, each selling a range of tasty treats and handcrafted items. Don’t forget to indulge in some mulled wine!
Today we head to beautiful Bruges, famous for its medieval architecture, where we’ll get to spend time in the pretty city centre. Enjoy some Christmas shopping at the fantastic Bruges Christmas Market, with its fairy-tale winter chalets, sparkling lights and festive decor making it a charming option. We’ll be able to buy goods ranging from traditional children’s toys to handmade jewellery and delicious chocolate treats, and there will also be an assortment of hot beverages to warm ourselves with.
Return home.
You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Royal Astrid Hotel in Ostend, which provides comfortable accommodation within easy reach of the shops, bars, harbour and parks. The cosy bar with fireplace is the perfect place to unwind with a drink in the evening.
